Appearance: regular, even sprouts with a good compactness; closed and wrapping up leaves that tend to close the heads in its apical part. Head having a part of the main root completely clean and a length proportional to the dimension of the head itself, however not longer than 6 cm. 

Colour: intense red-wine leaf-blade with secondary venations barely shown; completely white back rib
(main venation). 

Taste: Back rib with a pleasantly somewhat bitter taste and crackling with regards to the compactness.
